Programming Radio 1988: Produced a series of five news features covering Constitutional Issues funded by the New York Council for the Humanities. Aired on The Gazette, WFUV 90.7 FM, Fordham University. 

WFUV's Elections Special Coverage. Two hour live commentary and analysis of the media coverage of the 1988 Presidential Election, 90.7 FM.

Radio 1987: Creator and Co‑producer of the Saturday Gazette. Weekly news and feature magazine. Local origination programming developed for WFUV 90.7 FM, Fordham University.

Documentaries Radio 1984: Produced, wrote, and narrated a half‑hour radio documentary, Elections in Nicaragua . Aired on Pacifica Radio, KPFK, Los Angeles, Nov. 3, 1984.

Video 1984: Co‑produced, directed cameras, and interviews for a one‑hour video documentary on Latin American music. Shot on location in Quito, Ecuador , July 1984.

Radio 1984: Produced, wrote, and narrated a one‑hour radio documentary for National Public Radio's Satellite Program Development Fund (SPDF), The Music of Latin America. Sent over national satellite, Feb. 1984.

Video 1982: Special Assistant to Production; assisted with editing, script writing, and directed English voice‑over, for a half‑hour television documentary on El Salvador, Soldiers and Rebels. Distributed to public television through KCET Los Angeles, Presente series.

Dr. Andersen is a frequent commentator and has appeared on numerous TV programs. She serves as an expert source for print and online publications as well, offering analysis and media criticism.
